This has become my personal anthem the last few years. Because I never listened closely to the lyrics; and I've been one who concentrates on lyrics.

“Effortless” is a great way to put it. These men were all friends and towering talents in their own rights. This project was done for fun and the result was pure magic.

Emma you missed the rocking chair that was rocking but empty, it was in ode to Roy Orbison who passed before the song was relased.

29 Apr 2026- Hi again, Emma. The Traveling Wilburys were a "supergroup"… This is where already-established musicians, with their own careers, collaborate together as one group.
In case you didn't recognize them:
    * George Harrison (of the Beatles)
    * Jeff Lynne (of ELO .. "Electric Light Orchestra")
    * Bob Dylan (famed American folk singer most popular in the 60s and early 70s)
    * Roy Orbison (probably most famous for his sing of " Oh, Pretty Woman") … He died after making the music, but before the video was shot…HIS rocking chair is empty, but meant to represent his presence in the vocals. His photograph is in the background.
    * Tom Petty (of Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers) … He died in late 2017
This was my favorite song from this particular supergroup. ( 3 other supergroups: "BLIND FAITH", "DUKES OF SEPTEMBER", "DAMN YANKEES"
Thanks for your reaction, Emma…. see you on the next one.
Last minute note on how they got the name:
This was a running joke between George Harrison & Jeff Lynne, during a previous album…. When they noticed small technical faults, mistakes, or unwanted noises in the recording—often caused by faulty equipment—𝑯𝒂𝒓𝒓𝒊𝒔𝒐𝒏 𝒘𝒐𝒖𝒍𝒅 𝒋𝒐𝒌𝒊𝒏𝒈𝒍𝒚 𝒕𝒆𝒍𝒍 𝒑𝒓𝒐𝒅𝒖𝒄𝒆𝒓 𝑱𝒆𝒇𝒇 𝑳𝒚𝒏𝒏𝒆, "𝑫𝒐𝒏'𝒕 𝒘𝒐𝒓𝒓𝒚, 𝒘𝒆'𝒍𝒍 𝒃𝒖𝒓𝒚 '𝒆𝒎 𝒊𝒏 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒎𝒊𝒙"

"When I Was a Boy" is the lead single from Alone in the Universe, released by Jeff Lynne's ELO on October 23, 2015. The song was written, produced, and performed entirely by Jeff Lynne — he played every instrument and sang all the vocals himself.
He was part of Traveling Wilburys with George Harrison. 😊

It would have been great if you even knew enough to identify the group: Bob Dylan, Tom Pretty, Jeff Lynn, George Harrison and Orbison (represented by the guitar rocking in an otherwise empty rocking chair). You likely have no idea or even genuine interest in it so good luck.

I just wonder if you realize the greatness you're witnessing. This "super group" was made up of Jeff Lynne, Bob Dylan, Tom Petty, George Harrison, Roy Orbison and, sorry, I don't remember the name of the drummer. The empty rocking chair with the guitar is for Roy Orbison who had passed away!

Many years later, Jeff Lynne did a solo song called "When I Was a Boy" that was about his career in music, and his time with ELO and the Traveling Wilburys. At one point you can see a brief re-creation of the "End of the Line" music video set, right down to Roy's guitar in the rocking chair. Very well done.

I was thinking of artists who aren't with us anymore that I think you'd enjoy "Hallelujah" by Jeff Buckley and "Somewhere Over the Rainbow" by Eva Cassidy. They are great artists who would have been superstars if they hadn't passed on so young.

The Traveling Wilburys is a rock supergroup from 1988, made up of Roy Orbison, George Harrison, Bob Dylan, Tom Petty, & Jeff Lynne. Also joining them is Jim Keltner who is a well-known session drummer. Roy had passed away when this video was made & they did a nice tribute to him with the guitar in the rocking chair. They had a lot of great songs such as "Handle With Care", "Heading For The Light", "Inside Out", "Tweeter & The Monkey Man", "Dirty World", "Last Night", "She's My Baby", "Rattled", "Nobody's Child", "Congratulations" etc. Sadly only 2 guys are now left from this group (Bob Dylan & Jeff Lynne).
