I think the personal color thing is a scam. I saw one that costs $100 just for them to lay some fabric on you. You can go to a fabric store in your home town and do this for free… just research your skin tone and undertones and see what the Internet says. Save 100 bucks
But spring and autumn offer the best temperatures for outdoor activities. I visited Korea in autumn 2018 for 2 weeks — Myeongdong and N Tower were packed, but most other places were pleasantly less crowded. Autumn is perfect for activities like kayaking, hiking, exploring lava caves, scuba diving, visiting waterfalls, green tea fields, the DMZ, the Running Man experience center, and even beach hopping in Jeju. Most of these can be arrange book the hostel, hotel with breakfast on the spot during your trip, and the costs are usually quite manageable. It was honestly one of my favourite adventure vacations ever.
Next April, I’ll be exploring Busan and a few new places.
Ummmm actually definitely DO travel in spring and autumn. It’s more popular for a good reason. The weather is DISGUSTING in the summer and too cold to have fun in the winter. If you’re on a budget and willing to sacrifice comfort then okay. But otherwise Spring and Fall are the best choices.
Biggest mistake most people make is they never leave the Seoul area when visiting South Korea, there's so much more to the beautiful country than just one city.
