🇨🇷 Trying to decide where to go in Costa Rica?
After 7 trips exploring Costa Rica over the past decade, these are the destinations I'd recommend most—from Arenal Volcano and Monteverde to Manuel Antonio, Corcovado, Puerto Viejo, and the country's incredible Pacific beaches.
Once you've decided where you want to go, I've put together my complete 14-Day Costa Rica Road Trip Itinerary that shows you exactly how to connect these destinations into one unforgettable trip.
🗺 It includes:
✅ Interactive Google Map
✅ Exact driving route
✅ Hotel recommendations
✅ Hidden gems & local restaurants
✅ Wildlife & photography tips
✅ Day-by-day planning guide
👉 Download it here:

👇 I'd love to know…
If you could only visit ONE place in Costa Rica, which would you choose and why?
🌋 Arenal • 🌿 Monteverde • 🐒 Manuel Antonio • 🦜 Corcovado • 🌊 Puerto Viejo • 🏄 Tamarindo
I'll be hanging out in the comments answering questions and helping people plan their trips.
¡Pura Vida! 🇨🇷
Hi Alexander welcome to Costa Rica. Thank you for your visit. Glad to meet you.
Wow!
I’m thinking about going with my boyfriend in December and staying for around 12 to 15 days. My plan is to rent a car, stay in Arenal, and then go to Santa Teresa/Montezuma. In between, I’m considering adding another destination like Manuel Antonio or Monteverde, since it’s easier in terms of logistics. What do you think? Do you have any other suggestions?
Third time for me since 1999/2001 Spanish language immersion schools in San Pedro. I’ve travelled widely and am in Tamarindo now. Costa Rica is my favorite country in the world to visit/stay. The most incredible, beautiful and friendly people live here and yes it’s changed, but it’s still very safe and well worth the visit. Oh and yes, it can be expensive now. Staying in smaller areas and buying groceries really helps.
I cried seeing the animals. Great video. Taking my wife to to CR for sure!
What about jaco beach is it nice place to visit pls let me know?
are there prostitutes in costa rica?
Where is that waterfall?
13:15 "i'm not internationally known, but i'm known to rock the microphone…" Sorry I promise i'm paying attention…
Hi Alex: Can you drink the water in Costa Rica? Do you have to be careful about the food like in Mexico? This was an incredible video, thanks!! Jane
3 weeks and counting till flight ssoooo pumped
Friends, is it the rainy season in the Carribbean Coast in July?
PURA VIDA Alexander 👋
Thanks for this! When you say you visited “over 7 times”… sooo 8 times? 😂 just thought that was funny
I am going to playa samara in beg of April
I am going in 2 months with my kids (both around 20 years old). I found an amazing Air BnB near Lafortuna then we stay over at Playa Conchal. We can’t wait to practice our Spanish!
May 1-4? Weather 😮
Very well done, thank you. Leaning towards playa Tamarindo
I will add one for you: Reserva de vida Bahía Junquillal
Tabacon used to cost just $4-5 back in the early 90's for entrance to the pool and grounds, and was only $12-15 a night for a room. then MTV came and ruined our secret getaway and told the whole world
Honestly, most of these Top 10 Costa Rica videos suck, but this was actually pretty good!
Hi Alex. Thank you about your Costa Rica vlog. I'm really impressed about the beauty of that place.
Would love to visit Costa Rica someday. Thank you
❤
What are these animals called: tamarin?
Hummingbird = colibrí jiji I’m cheating. I’m from Costa Rica 🇨🇷 lol
Wow I love your Costa Rican video. Thanks for showing our beauty to the world. Pura vida Mae!
I'm impressed man, I'm tico and let me tell you that you basically know everything about every region and the weather 😮😮😮
Also if ya dig and enjoyed this video Costa Rico which was cool and still a long haired after all these years though with a changed heart and peace 😀 you may also enjoy the song " Most of All " By Glenn Kaiser and Where Roses Grow Live by Rez Band Awesome songs check them out. Also I remember hearing the song by Led Zepp " In My Time of Dyin " during my drug years and made me think about death and Jesus. Then a hippy friend that dug Jesus told me more of Jesus love and forgiveness and how I could also know Jesus love. So in 1981 I cried out to Jesus and wow man He came into my life and I had and have so much joy and peace and now know that through Jesus when I die I will be with Him in Heaven. Hey Jesus loves each of you also and yall can know Him if you are at all open. Just cry out to Him and a good question to ask yourself if you were to die today would you go to heaven ? And if yes why ? To find out more please read the Gospel of John in the Bible or check out the movie on YouTube. 😀

Hi! I’ll be buying your guide but would love to know if the end of November is a great time to go to Costa Rica?! Either Caribbean side or if the Pacific Ocean side is better weather/nightlife? Thank you!
I will be going to Tambor beach looking at a lot to purchase. I see you were close to that area and any opinions for that area ? Looks like you have enjoyed Costa Rica to the fullest. Hope to do the same. Thanks for the info

San Juanillo Guanacaste 🇨🇷🌊🌎
I’ll take Lexus for reliability
Apparently there is at least three playa hermosas because there is a playa hermosa just north of Santa Teresa beach. I would say my #1 is Costa Rica hands down is the Santa Teresa – Montezuma area in the Nicoya peninsula. Gotta check it out.
Hummingbird in spanish is “colibrí”
Very nice video, Just don't let your plane ticket fool you. The International airport Juan SantaMaria , in Costa Rica is not in San Jose. it is Located in Alajuela and San Jose is another province the capital of Costa Rica.
