OMG I love your eyeglasses!!
I got told off because I hadn't shown him a solid deodorant. It was in a different bag. I made a mistake and told him it was a solid not a liquid. He didn't like that.
Love your glasses!
I literally live 5 minutes from the airport. I can stand in my front yard and watch the planes land and take off yes its noisy but not always.
We always arrive 2 hrs early! Always no exception many unpredictable things can and will happen! Not worth the stress
My daughter would LOVE that suitcase graphic! Is that custom?
not gonna lie, the boarding 30-50 minutes ahead of time has been a thing for several years
Thank you! Luckily I leave very early!!
In my city you have to arrive minimum 3 hours before your flight if you are flying outside of Canada. You may be denied boarding if you arrive later than that! Bring a good book and snacks! lol!
we've flown a couple times this year, but i appreciate the 2 hours before boarding rather than 2 hours before flight, which is what we usually hear
My flight in Phoenix boarded 15 minutes before it was supposed to
Here's a tip for all Americans travelling outside the US. When you're in another country, you are a guest in that country. Not all countries serve the same food as the US so expect things to take differently. Money not to be waived around and it will not get you service. Don't tip unless you ask the server if gratuity is included in the prices. Pay attention to the volume in the room. It's quiet because people are respectful of other people's spaces and they maintain a level of volume. Whisper, eye contact and smile at the servers. Say please and thank you. Keep your elbows off the table and use a knife and fork when eating and never put a knife in your mouth. The fork is used by the left had, knife with the right hand. If you are not using your utensils set them down. Don't hold them in your fists as you gnaw on your last bite. That's more than enough to remember.
Don't pack liquids in containers that hold more than 100ml. or it will be confiscated by TSA. If you have half a jar of moisture but the container has a capacity of 125ml, it won't pass security. Remember it's not how much product is in the tube or jar, it's the volume written on the packaging. Do not pack a water bottle. The smallest water bottle is 375ml.
LIQUIDS. You didn't mention what's obvious to frequent travelers but may not be for someone who hasn't flown in a long time: you may not have any container that contains more than 3.4 ounces (travel size).
I definitely noticed that earlier this year when I flew. They are boarding very early now. Kind of stinks. Cause he just sit there and sit there and sit there before the plane ever moves.
Avoid Indian airlines
And won't..no problem
Thank you Laura, I need something’s so am going on your channel where am a subscriber ❤
So awesome info!! Ty!!
i do not have the um mandated id card. so i am banned from flying within my own country.but can fly to another country. and fed courts.
i can not wait for my lawyer to tell a judge i can not be in his court room.
i bet that judge will allow me in there really fast.
Tip 1: keep avoiding those planes like the plague bc the plague just might be in the air system and bc the traffic controll system may or may not work when you land
Just drive
Flew a lot in early 70's. Wonderful experience every time. Flew again in late 1997ish. Like being in a cattle car. Tiny, tiny seats, rude flight attendants, under powered jets and passengers dressed and behaving like a trip to the beach. Super unpleasant. Would rather pay more and take a train or bus. IMHO….
Great tips- question- is it true we get radiation from flying in a plane comparable to like a chest X-ray?
I’ve ALWAYS been at the airport two hours early!! I’m a stickler for being on time and NOT being late! Thank you for sharing for those who are not like me lol! 😂♥️
Tip #1 leave your house? You leave the house early to go to the airport? Thank you
Arrive three hours before your flight leaves if you are doing international travel.
My top tips:
1. Leave your home when it’s dark so your neighbours (and any passers-by) don’t witness you going off on holiday: it’s a sure-fire way to get your home burgled!
2. If you’re being collected by a friend to take you to the airport, leave your case with them before-hand – and get collected up the street so your neighbours think you’re just walking to the shops
3. Never use a luggage label – it tells thieves your address so they know your house is empty. Instead write your details on a sheet of paper INSIDE your case so TSA staff can access it, no-one else
4. The most important – photocopy the last two pages of your passport: take one copy with you, leave the other with a family member or friend and take a photo of it on your phone. If you lose your passport you can still fly home by showing the authorities the photocopy and/or photo.
I love your travel tips! I absolutely swear by them! ❤
So, toothpaste, lotions, and vaseline are all liquids?
I quit flying…..there a pain in the ass
Can you suggest anything for taveling a long flight for someone who suffers from major anxiety?
I used to travel a lot until 2019 then Covid. I just about to travel again and my goodness so many new regulations and I feel exhausted already 🙁
Thank you!!!
Are lip gloss and mascara considered liquids?
You are not dumb
2 hours is not enough for international flights. Airports generally recommend 3 hours. But hey, everyone is different, and I suppose some don't mind being stressed to the gills when they travel – it just adds to the excitement!
Those glasses are super cute!
It depends on what airport you're flying out of and what time of year as to whether you need to be at the airport 2 hours early.
For example, you can arrive at the Philly airport in the fall an hour to an hour and a half before your flight is set to take off and you'll have plenty of time to sit and wait for boarding to begin.
I have not flown in an airplane since I was a teenager. I'm 51 now, I will be flying in early April.
Green looks good on you !!! 💚
Hi, I just found you and I love all of your updates when leaving a country as in my case Spain, how many hours in advance would you suggest for my return flight that I’m not sure about
Definitely me ! really have no clue what I am doing ! I very seldom fly! Thanks so much!!
30-50 mins before the departure time for boarding?! Some airlines only give 30 mins for a connection 😳 how is that legal?
Long haul flighting for the first time in 20yrs soon. Dreading it but your tips are certainly helping out. Thank you 🙏🏼
I have not flown for 25 years. So much has changed. It is wonderful to find posts like this so I don’t look like a total dufus for my trip .❤❤❤
