Utahn here, love Zion's and Lake Powell but would definitely add Bryce Canyon NP with it's absolutely stunning colored sandstone formations. I've never been to the Salt Flats but my kids go out there with their high school friends and come back with cars, clothes and shoes covered with that slaty mud so be prepared to clean yourself up after your visit!

I'm sorry' Ryan. IMO you missed big time on your list. Most US cities are shitholes of cars, traffic, and the smell of pot. Times Square? Such a cliche. Seattle? Lived there for ten years. Overtaken with homeless drug addicts, graffiti and anarchy. An absolute filthy city. Half Dome? Angels Landing? Overcrowded and way overvisited. People ruin it for everyone and rather than list 25 under-rated, relaxing places, like Bonneville, your list should be named "20 places in the US that are ruined by crowds of people, and five cool, underrated places.
The U.S. has some amazing places. I love the variety of them, from the coast to the mountains and everything in between. Travelling is one of my favourite leisure activities and I would definetly add a couple of these places to my bucket list!
