The high line is overrated, trinity church on the other hand is often overlooked. 9/11 Museum is a must see, Museum of Natural History too, little Italy and many more places are way more New York than the high line, it's only good if you want to visit the vessel (overrated too) and little island which is also a very nice spot to rest and snap cool pictures.
