Great tips Laurie, one of your videos showed a really nice travel blanket for Long haul flights can you please post that link please?
I could not believe how many things I had with cords and that needed charging. I wish I would have purchased the larger cord bag. I don’t think I could have kept it all straight without the colored tape hack. I even put small tags in each pocket so I knew where each cord went.
I don’t know why but eyedrops do help with fatigue! I use them halfway through long study sessions at school.
I put eye drops in my liquid bag.
I usually skip food tours because I am not interested in foreign foods. I eat basic foods like organic veggies.
So you don't need a converter for charging a phone or men's electric razor?
Our favorite tip for jet lag is to live like you’re in that time zone once you’re on the plane, then once you’re there eat snacks all day to help stay awake and regulate you’re eating times, some favorites are things like nuts or trail mix, and you have to make it until dinner before sleeping
Thanks!
dear L : flying w British air this october to heathrow then to Pisa. the Level 8 20in wb ok but the personal item bag Nomad Diameter is 8 in and British Air permits diameter of 6 in. i had to buy a larger Travelon crossbody but the diameter is 4-5in. it will work as purse and personal item . hope this helps others. love your videos
every time i watch this video i crack up about the cheese so fun!
Yes, yes, please show what you packed on your River Cruise. I thought you did this already. I saw something thing like this. If not, would you do so. Many thanks!
Why do you put tape or nail polish on adapter?
My Mom had an opportunity to visit Germany in the winter so we shopped for layered tops and two wool slacks with silk Long John's. While she was gone I kept receiving small packages of what I assumed were gifts, so never opened them. She was invited to stay another several weeks which was wonderful but when she got home I found out she was mailing home her little gifts wrapped with laundry! She just kept buying undergarments! It's still one of the funniest of her "travel hacks"
Yeah, do River Cruise tips!!!
Love your Fabulous tips – it always makes me want to take a trip!! 😻
Waterproof your existing shoes, sneakers, jackets, and bags. Waterproof spray costs only about 10$, and it works wonders. Even my cloth sneakers didn't let the rain in.
Thank you ❤
I travel with a small fold flat fan for my bedside table. It charges with USB and lasts all night on one charge
River cuise…yes!
lovely, informative videos!
Use shower caps to cover your shoes in your suitcase to protect all your clothes if not using packing cubes – when travelling home 😊 thanks for all your tips x
How soon before my passport should I renew?
Thanks so much. ❤
I usually pack clothing that I can toss…..ie sleeping t-shirts, socks with failing elastic, etc. My last trip to Greece I was able to get a few nice moisture wicking polos at a thrift store on dollar days…..I was able to toss them after a use.
I’d love a video on what/ how to pack for a river cruise. We are going on a Viking River cruise in April 2025 for our anniversary.
I like a hoodie for the plane. My head doesn’t touch the nasty seat as well as my back and arms are protected from germs.
Merci Laurie.
I usually just bring a laundry soap (like Savon de Marseille) to do my laundry and use the bathroom sink. And voilà.
Laurie, you are fantastic!! I took a short trip to NY in May of this year and only took a carry-on. Your videos were so helpful. Now my husband and I are planning a trip to Italy. All these tips are so valuable!!! Thank you again. Safe Travels everyone. 🥰
How much is a bathroom visit?
My body bag just arrived today, love it! 👍 It will fit all I need on the plane and touring around , when I arrive to my destination. It’s not too big and yet not too small, and so well made. I will feel safe with this bag, thanks for all your great tips.🇨🇦
I was travelling yesterday. At boarding some carry-on suitcases were being checked TO THE FINAL DESTINATION. One woman was only asked if she had a lithium batteries she said no and they checked her bag to Madrid and not Dallas her next stop. She had medicines in the case. So BE SURE MEDICINES ARE IN YOUR SMALLEST CARRY-ON AND ALWAYS ASK WHERE THE BAG IS BEING CHECKED. WILL IT BE TO YOUR NEXT STOP OR FINAL DESTINATION.
ALSO, before handing over anything thing like a stub, ticket, etc. Take a picture with your phone in case the stub, ticket gets lost.
So many electric items like hair dryers and curling irons these days are dual voltage. Check yours..if they say 100/240w or dual voltage, you only need the adapter to fit the appropriate outlet.
When traveling in Europe I always pack a top sheet because the beds usually only have a duvet, no top sheet, even in summer. I line my suitcase with the sheet, pack my belongings and then wrap the excess sheet around suitcase contents. This really helps with a good night's sleep.
A hoodie without a hood is called a sweatshirt. 😂😂😂 I forget my words all the time. sigh

With the V2 Origami Tote would you recommend buying the travel suitcase it's shown with where it loops/mounts onto the handle for easy mobility through airport etc.? Does being made by the same company make them fit together better when/if needed? When you click on the link for the tote, it shows with a suit case? I'm looking for easy carry on. Thank you, Harriet from South

Thanks!
I’ve had success spraying ScotchGuard on my regular walking shoes to make them water resistant – good enough for city walking in the rain.
Hi Laurie, I appreciate you. I bought many of what you recommended. You showed a neck / forehead support with a connected lumbar support. This helps avoid your head from bupping. I can't find that video. Can you help me find it again. Thank you.
Thank you! I can't wait to do to Serbia!
Hi Laurie…..This video was so helpful for my upcoming Christmas Markets tour in Germany, Switzerland and Austria!!! I wrote notes on so much of what you suggested. Thank you!
Do you have any experience with the flea markers in Paris? I am going to Paris next week and not sure which one to go to.
One question, you always talk about space, but not about weight. If one uses compression cubes, it helps with space but not with weight that is very limited.
