before mounting up on 2up riding, get a hi vis gear first.. all black like that is how my friend got hit at night from behind.

as an old rider, his right side mounts are solid legit. haters have never ridden off road. and ever seen how cops have to do it. it’s a thing. i am trying to learn his technique and it is hard as shit. i have the left peg mount down, which is similar. i’ll get there.

I'll have chance to buy an Africa Twin but I'm not so sure about the girlfriend.
I know this triggers a lot of riders, but hey, they know what they’re doing. The bike isn’t going to drop easily because its suspension is different from other bikes. But if you try that with a superbike or a lighter bike, 💯 it’ll fall. Touring bikes are built different, they’re made for mud and rocks!

Hes mounting opposite the kickstand because hes either not tall enough or not flexible enough to mount the other side. This is a common technique for short riders on tall bikes.
The reason you dont do this same technique on the kickstand side is because if the bike is already leaned a bit to that side, you run the risk of toppling it over when you step on the peg.
