Eravikulam national park me apko sirf ek pahadi bakri dekhne ko milegi, wo bhi 2ghante travel karne ke bad aur 2km paidal chalne ke bad….its a waste of time.

Beautiful place, but feels full of scammers and reckless jeep drivers
Munnar and especially Vattavada are naturally beautiful, but the experience is completely spoiled by jeep drivers who behave like scammers and road bullies. Many of them have no driving manners, no courtesy, and only one goal – to intimidate tourists and extract money.
On 24 January 2026, while I was standing in a traffic queue with my family, a drunk jeep driver deliberately reversed his parked jeep and hit my car. My front left door got bent and scratched. My father was sitting on the left seat, yet the driver showed zero concern. Instead, he behaved rudely and arrogantly, as if this was his private road.
This kind of behavior makes the place feel unsafe and scam-like, especially for families and self-drive tourists. Overspeeding, intentional hits, intimidation, and no visible police control — it feels like law doesn’t exist here.
Munnar deserves better governance. Until strict action is taken, tourists should be extremely careful or avoid driving here altogether.
