I bought 2 similar bags @a discount store in Paris, each was 10 euro
I’m curious of you have used this bag on a United flight under the seat? Per their website a personal item bag must be 17x10x9 and this bag before expansion is 16.5×12.2×8.1 and I’m concerned those 2 extra inches will be a problem at the airport.
I bought the roller one for a trip this weekend to use as a carry on. Then the saw this so I ordered it and it just arrived. I had to rewatch the video to make sure I could find all the features and hidden zippers

I am confused. You are allowed one carryon of a given size and one personal item (each airline has their own size and weight requirements). This backpack is the size of a carryon. How is it allowed to bring on board as a personal item?
Just used this bag for the first time on flight to Orlando last week. As my personal item it fit perfectly in under an aisle seat. Very assessable and great organization.

I love my bag. I’ve had it for over a year. Whether I’m traveling in our van or on a plane, it holds all my clothes for a month long trip. The lap top holder is especially valuable. I highly recommend this bag.
I would put my items in the brain pocket in a baggie as I might lose the lose items.

I ordered this exact bag, but they delivered the older model. I have contacted the company, and while I got an initial response, that has been it. I have tried to contact the company several times to no avail. Consequently, they have my money for the more expensive bad. I am so frustrated as I needed it for my trip.
Update: Everything got resolved finally, and I have the bag I originally ordered. I will not use this company again, however.
Another update: I bought this bad based on this recommendation. It ends up it won’t fit in international flights! What a waste of my time and money!
I just got this bag for my long haul trip coming up. I plan on using the shoe compartment for my Fanny pack and on board items so I don’t plan on opening the clamshell. Thank you for all your videos. I keep learning.
Hi Laurie. Do you have a video for a hybrid tote/backpack? I like how a backpack carries, but I prefer the opening of a tote. When I’ve used the backpack (I purchased one you suggested on Amazon), I love the way it carries on the back and on my carry-on with the trolley strap, but once on the plane I feel like I can’t find anything.

Not sure what the person below is talking about when stating airlines want you to put everything in bins. Not true. Just flew 4 flights on 3 different airlines 2 weeks ago. 2 flights were regional jets then full size American and full size United. If your personal item fits under the seat you do NOT have to put it in the bins above. If you’re in the first row of each seat class then yes, you’ll have to move it up top. I carried a Patagonia Black hole mini and a roller carryon onto each jet. Bag fit under the seat and carryon went up top. This Bagsmart bag in the video fits under the seat. My daughter in law has 2 of them and they fly Alaska air and Delta. Fits under seat on both. I’m purchasing this Bagsmart bag as well. The cinch straps are a super nice feature my Patagonia lacks.
How often do you travel with this bag ? See so many vids reviewing but not a lot of people talking about how it travels long run
