After traveling for 35 years, and over a hundred economy short and many long haul flights, I will only fly business class long haul, at 70.I have earned it
I use basically you get this like this little pop-up mattress and then for my son that I put up but I use of everybody but you put it in the little gap between your saved so then you donāt have to worry and then really comfortable even if itās a short flightand I use it for when weāre in the airport as
Aisle seat always!! I hate the feeling of claustrophobia being in a window seat and having to wait for two people to get up every time I want to stretch my legs or use the bathroom. If you use a supportive neck pillow like the turtl, you will find you donāt miss the window seat
last row is mistake. just grow a pair and recline, most people behind don't care as much as you think and they can recline as well if it bothers them. Also theres no overhead storage space since its reserved for stuff like first aid supplies
Sit in middle section aisle if you want the best of both worlds: easy washroom access as well as a lower chance of a neighbour needing to wake you up or bother you if they need to leave their seat
My first international flight was with a group to Israel. I did a bit of research on Delta Airlines and realized I could pre order a meal. So I did. I don't recall what I ordered but it was served first and looked better than what the others had.
Fast forward about 8 years, I now fly Premium Economy or Business class for international trips.
I like window because I can sleep uninterrupted. Aisle you always have to worry about being too far out or keep a watch for if the people inside need to get out.
Sigh, I love the window seat for views but oso love the isle seat for the practicality. Maybe I would go for the isle seat for longer haul flights and windows for short flights.
Why feel guilty for reclining? Your seat is supposed to recline and on a lot of flights these days getting it to recline even more is a perk you pay for. Recline your damn seat don't feel guilty about it that's what it's for. When I go on a flight I expect the person in front of me to recline their seat.
You don't actually get to sleep earlier even if you received your food first because you'll have to stay awake to give them your food tray, cups, etc, unless you're there with someone who can do that for you.
Why do you millennials and GenZ think that you have discovered a "hack" for things that people have known for decades? FYI since you are not smart enough to know this the emergency door is the roomiest!
On 3 occasions of 14-hour flights in economy, the person sitting in front reclined throughout. All 3 flights involved transiting/to/from Hong Kong China. All 3 of such "no guilt it is my freedom" passengers speak Mandarin. I have learnt to (1)transit in countries where people are generally more considerate, (2)upgrade/pay more for exit rows. If I have a choice, I do not want to make the person sitting behind me experience the 14-hour hell imposed upon me.
I fly quite frequently and for a time I also used the isle seat a lot, but nowadays I mostly try to book a window seat. Nobody disturbs me when Iām sleeping and I can put a cushion between the fuselage and my head giving me a more comfortable sleeping position. If you fly longer routes you just have to learn to sleep on planes and I believe the window seat is better suited for that. Also always check on premium economy if there are some good deals or upgrades available. It often gives you the best value for money.
Never book for the last row. The aircraft always wobbles around with the tail. Make a test next time. It happens due to the impact of the wind on the mounted horizontal stabilizers.
Yes, I never played this game and I really made it this far. Iām listening to TDMGās analysis while I work on things which require minimal attention but Iām still enjoying it

Sitting 1 row in front of toilets while people stand around next to you while they queue up to use the toilet it not the hack you think it is!

We came up with simple, but better way to stop the bobs!
As a kid, love window seat, as grown adult + on known long haul route, aisle seat is better

do people feel guilty for reclining?

window seat so i don't have to be exposed to uv rays lmao
If I fly economy I like the last row window seat . No one kicking the back of the seat , head against the wall the window and sleep
How is this a āhackā:
āPay more for more legroom?ā
If thatās the case, another hack would be to be more comfortable in coach by paying for first class.
I always try to seat middle cause the front usually has babies
QANTAS last row doesn't recline

Last row??? You have never flown a long flight economy, did you?

This is not what "hack" means.
the toilet smell in the last row is not worth it. Aisle seats are great to move around but if you sleep, your seatmates will wake you up to go pee.

Lol Air Canada doesn't have recline on last row
No seat near the toilet. Inflatable pillow. Avoid 10 abreast airlines
Always book cheap seat in isle and you good

Near the fire exit door you will so much room
Book your flight 4 months before and it's cheaper than
well fun fact about me, i can recline the entire fligh guilt free no matter where i sit
Never book for the last row. The aircraft always wobbles around with the tail. Make a test next time. It happens due to the impact of the wind on the mounted horizontal stabilizers.
You donāt get to sleep quicker sir! You will sit there with the tray on your lap until theyāve come to take everyone elseās tray.
iām flying for the first time this summer
Aisle seat, big no no. You have to move constantly when people want to get out.
Some airlines last row doesnāt recline, an example is LATAM
Imma recline guilt free wherever i sit lol. I pay for the seat, i use the seat how i want
Useless not hacks
