I’m a big fan of packing cubes, but I also mostly pack items that wrinkle less or can “hang out” overnight. Packing cubes make organizing and repacking easier, especially when there are multiple accommodations involved. I also pack a small travel steamer, which I use for my (curly) hair and clothing that need a few minor creases quickly removed. But I can see the appeal of flat folding Ike in the video, if one brings more formal clothing that can wrinkle a lot and won’t fit as neatly into packing cubes. (I recently traveled to a wedding, where my 2 wedding attendee outfit did not fit well into cubes, so I packed in cubes AND FOLDED items into the luggage.)
Flat packing is my favorite way to pack! Thank you so much! I like packing cubes, but I don’t think they are appropriate in every situation for every garment
Thanks for the ideas! I will probably still use packing cubes as I don't travel with any clothing that wrinkles. Plus my jeans stay home, they are too heavy.
I agree. I used to use packing cubes, but I have decided they not only wrinkle, but I also feel like I can get more in because the fabric can move into other spaces as needed. With packing cubes you are more restricted with space.

Cool idea
If you layer with dry cleaner plastic (Martha Stewart, 1980's), many less wrinkles. Use that trick all the time. ❤️

GREAT 👌. Thank you and safe trip 🌷
I do a combination of layering and packing cubes. Definitely causes less wrinkling. 👍👍👍
Best way ever… …
Also, where did you get your jacket? Looks a little shimmery?
What is your extra bag and where did you get it from?
