We did our ETA updates…it was $21 – what is the $7 you mentioned. I thought our charge covered us for about 2 years or until passport expired.

I was a ticket agent years ago with Eastern Airlines & that time 50 mins for a layover or connecting time and was Never enough and at that time the terminals& gates were not that apart how they are now ( check the size of airports nowadays )

I travel a lot and just got back from nearly a month long dive trip to Indonesia where I spent 25+ on back to back flights. I had something similar that I wore from Mountain Hardware, but I like these so much better. More pockets and lighter. These are now my essential travel outfit.
This video gave me the clarity I needed.

Also noticed that the flight attendants are super annoyed when you do not know what you want to drink or ask if you have something.
If they are not helping travellers with their luggage and get snappy when asked a question, only apply the rules to some…..what exactly is their job? The worst experience was my last trip to Costa Rica on Southwest, they were rude and unprofessional. Everything I have mentioned in last 2 posts was from that trip. I could go on and on about the issues
I believe in see it say it, well until I watched.a gentleman exit the plane walk away then a few seconds later he came back towards the gate and headed back down the jet way. I understood that once you exit the plane you are not allowed back towards the plane. I grabbed a crew member walking by and told her what I saw. She then proceeds to laugh at me, wtaf?!?! This was the plane I was about to board and she is laughing it off. Either the rules apply or they do not and are they not taking them seriously?

When I used to fly from ATL to Northern Michigan and had to switch to a puddle jumper plane I started booking it as 2 flights because they ALWAYS had the next flight 50 minutes after the landing time. The regular jets are at one end of the Detroit airport and the puddle jumper is at the opposite end. One time we heard them PAGING US 😱 we felt embarrassed AND annoyed because we KNEW they had to have our itinerary. We were already going as fast as we could through the airport. After that, I booked two stops myself and gave us at least two hours
Can we charge our phones on the plane? I seen that back battery pack for airport DO NOT plug your phone in charger at the airport because of hackers

Just came back from BCN to SFO. They ushered us thru customs and out. We had to go through security again to make our next connecting flight! We had plenty of time but what a hassle! We asked for directions and we were told where to go upon deplaning. Terrible.

Laurie, I haven’t seen any updates or information on seat cushions. Do you know if there are any new rules or limitations on these? There are several on the market to help with hip and tailbone pain and I was looking at a memory foam cushion.
I used the UK ETA app on my phone to complete the application. I had to take a couple of pics to include with the application, and those took more time than I thought. The application was finnicky about what was considered an acceptable image. It took me about 45 minutes to complete and submit the application. The good news is, I had the approval email back from the UK in less than 2 minutes. Total cost was just over $22. Thanks for the tips Laurie!
