I dont think its just, paris, Morroco and thailand. From my British colleagues who visited other European countries on holidays, their experiences was the same. One of my colleague, a white lady returned fully black and blue in colour as robbed and beaten up.
I'm a guy, and I really don't see the point in traveling. What's the big deal about it. You fly across an ocean spending hours on an airplane just to go drink coffee at a coffee shop, eat food, and then look at some buildings. There's a better ways to spend your money. I'm perfectly fine where I'm at in montana. Plenty of nature, can we have restaurants in coffee shops just like everywhere else in the world. It amazes me that people will spend $2,000 just a flight to Italy and eat some pizza.
As a half Thai Pattaya en Patong are absolutely places I avoid. I might sound racist but everywhere where you see a lot of european people in Thailand are places I avoid. Because there is more prostitution, drugs and alcohol.
I've been to Paris twice, and the second time, I was alone. I didn't feel safe around Gare du Nord at first, because I got lost for over an hour trying to find my hostel and it was after midnight when I found it. A dude gave me directions and he was very nice. After that, it was fine. I think if you're walking at night in busier areas, it's probably fine. Just do your homework before you visit on everything to watch out for.
Ladies imma say this and I hope you listen ..feminism got your brain warped….no woman is supposed to be walking the streets alone unless she is a hooker….in the countries u felt unsafe in they are all very traditional so when they see you being green not knowing the rules of the land you become victim…….done ✅ learn that the entitlement you have in America can only be in America…..for nowll is men decide we don't wanna tolerate that shit anymore then it's really over
Why you speak like this fool. And if Paris isn't safe, for sure, USA towns filled with drugged people encampments and homeless in their city centers are.
As a female traveller myself I recommend to always ask female locals (receptionists, airbnb hosts, taxi drivers, etc) what they consider safe and what they would avoided. Has helped me tremendously on my travels.

As a French, I’m sorry you experienced that in our country. Unfortunately it’s very common that men act like that here.
The first story was so scary .I'm so happy you trusted your instincts!
