For blisters, take a look at blister band aids (don't know the exact English term, but they're awesome). They prevent blisters if you almost have them, shield them if you do get blisters, and don't weigh a lot either. (Quality does make a real difference here tho, more than with normal band aids)
I would still take the chair.. id rather have my back lean on smth when im sitting down and the sit pad looks uncomfortable. And if my back hurts after carrying it ill js sit on it to feel better isnt it for that reason anyways?
lol, make you're own chair from wood or other material – also, why is this a conversation when backpacking? bring a role of climbing tape and/or duck tape – as well as a cotton material, what the hell are you doing with those tablets? you're clearly not a backpacker. i can't even with these tablets, lol
so after 30 miles you want less back support? my god, I could never. If I do anything more than 5 I don't just want I NEED back support lmao. or I'm not doing any the next day.
I usually take a solid shit before going hiking, for several reasons. But the main one being, 1/4 pounds lighter is a huge difference on a 15miles hike. So the chair being 2lbs is absurd weight, good call!
I think leaving the chair behind is somewhat of a young person's game. 😀
Most of the more experienced, read "older" hikers and backpackers I have seen, will find ways to cut weight from other gear to offset the weight of a chair.
3 things I no longer bring on multi day hikes and what I bring instead: 1) I no longer bring food with me, but i call a delivery guy 2) I no longer bring my phone or my camera, because everything is on the internet already, and in higher quality and better resolution! 3) I no longer bring myself, but i bring google street view to the area i wanna check out

Thank you Madison, love you!
Why can’t we just sit on the plain hard ground and brush the dirt off after? look how much we have de-evolved

People’s obsession with having to brush their teeth. Nuts.
The toothpaste tablets do freeze, trust me. 😅
I would take gorilla duct tape.

I'd rather travel 30 miles on my motorbike and carry a comfy chair in my pannier, and a proper first aid kit
I would rather take a sofa – great for taking a nap.
What is back packing?
Bear Spray 🐻, Fire Starter 🔥, Pewpew 🔫
Louco tape or hockey tape?
As an at thru hiker, you could lose the boots for trail runners and just use a Nemo switch back for your sleeping mat and occasional sitting pad
Water and foods is importantier.
Stop it. Just have babies already
A good thought from occupied Romania.
I bring a bag full of thunder clouds much more light weight and i can use them for many different purposes 😅

Do you bring a gun? For animals and creeps
Sorry but sitting on the ground and in a chair is not the same thing, huge difference.
Thanks for spelling out Leukotape. I'm going to have to look that up 👍

Sit on the ground
Don’t brush my teeth
And use ibuprofen
Has worked for me so far! (I do bring toothpaste on trips over 4 days don’t tweak)
